Palm Springs (and the nearby Whitewater Preserve) are one of our most favorite of places. In the winter time, there’s nothing better than a hike in the desert followed by dinner on the patio at Sherman’s. We have been known to bring home a slice of cake (or two, or three…)

In November of 2024 we decided that Palm Springs would make an excellent set. We love the Midcentury Modern architecture that is so prominent in many of the houses in the area, and thought one of the classic house designs would be the perfect subject.

We mocked up a set, and then went looking for the perfect retail partner. We were lucky to find Destination PSP which is THE home of Modernism week in Palm Springs. The team at PSP has been fantastic to work with, and it’s been a successful partnership. We’ve got 2 sets for sale at PSP, and have just designed a 3rd house set (the Wedge) along with a much larger set complete with furniture and landscaping; these are anticipated to be available in the fall of 2025, just in time for the holiday season.
